type of wood waste, the machine achieves a throughput of approximately 4 tonnes per hour, producing an output fraction below 50 mm.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1777\" data-end=\"1896\">The two-stage shredding principle makes it possible to process bulky pieces of wood waste while simultaneously controlling the size of the output material.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1898\" data-end=\"2127\">Material is loaded into the shredder hopper using a forklift or wheeled front loader. At this facility, the shredded wood is used:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2515\" data-end=\"2617\">\n<li data-start=\"2515\" data-end=\"2532\">in horticulture,<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2533\" data-end=\"2563\">for heat generation,<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2564\" data-end=\"2617\">as a raw material for manufacturers of wood-based panels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2619\" data-end=\"2750\">Shredding transforms bulky wood waste into a form that is considerably easier to handle, transport and process further.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-4 fusion-sep-none fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-two\" style=\"--awb-margin-top:40px;--awb-margin-bottom:0px;--awb-margin-top-small:10px;--awb-margin-right-small:0px;--awb-margin-bottom-small:10px;--awb-margin-left-small:0px;--awb-font-size:32px;\"><h2 class=\"fusion-title-heading title-heading-left\" style=\"margin:0;font-size:1em;line-height:1.2;\"><h2>Magnetic separation of metal contaminants<\/h2><\/h2><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-11\"><p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"2795\" data-end=\"2886\">The shredder is followed by a discharge belt conveyor fitted with an overband magnetic separator.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2888\" data-end=\"2972\">Its purpose is to remove ferromagnetic contaminants from the shredded wood.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2974\" data-end=\"3221\">Magnetic separation is particularly important when processing materials where the presence of metal components cannot be completely ruled out. Removing these metals reduces contamination in the final wood fraction and prepares the material for further use.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-5 fusion-sep-none fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-two\" style=\"--awb-margin-top:40px;--awb-margin-bottom:0px;--awb-margin-top-small:10px;--awb-margin-right-small:0px;--awb-margin-bottom-small:10px;--awb-margin-left-small:0px;--awb-font-size:32px;\"><h2 class=\"fusion-title-heading title-heading-left\" style=\"margin:0;font-size:1em;line-height:1.2;\"><h2>Shredding wood directly at the point of waste generation<\/h2><\/h2><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-12\"><p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"3271\" data-end=\"3328\">The entire processing system is installed directly at the production facility.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3330\" data-end=\"3517\">Wood waste generated during pallet manufacturing is collected, mechanically loaded into the shredder and processed to a fraction below 50 mm. The shredded material is then conveyed through the system and subjected to magnetic separation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3519\" data-end=\"3673\">The resulting shredded wood can be loaded directly at the facility.
