*) The stated throughput was measured when shredding wooden pallets that had been pre-shredded using a twin-shaft shredder. The PICUS shredder was fitted with a screen with 20 mm openings. The pieces of wood fed into the shredder were < 100 mm. Shredding throughput depends on the size of the screen openings, the mechanical properties of the material being processed, and the size and shape of the items being shredded. We recommend that customers arrange a shredding trial at our facility using their own material, with the machine configured and set up as it would be for delivery.
