Star sorter – ROLLSTER
The ROLLSTER star sorter is a device that is designed to sort compost, soil or wood chips according to grain size. It also serves as a shaker of small heavy objects (stones) from the mixture with large light objects (plastic film). A significant advantage of the ROLLSTER star sorter is its ability to process a wide range of often problematic materials without the risk of clogging the work surface. This feature results from the technical solution used, using parallel rows of rotating rubber stars. The rows of discs rotating in one direction transmit waves and vibrations to the material being conveyed. The solution practically eliminates the possibility of clogging of the sieve surface, while even sticky and low-loose materials can be reliably sorted. Depending on the specific application and the customer’s requirements for the size of the sorted fraction, the geometry of the discs, their placement and shifting are selected. The modular construction of the basic sections, their two- or three-stage serial or parallel shifting allows to assemble a multi-stage classifier capable of sorting the mixture into up to four fractions according to the grain size in one working stroke.
Cable recycling – BONANZA
If cable recycling, then the BONANZA technological workplace. BONANZA is used to extract copper or aluminium from waste cables. Its standard components include a knife mill, transport fan, air piping, cyclone and separator. The individual devices are designed to form a compact unit controlled from a single control panel. The cables are inserted into the knife mill by hand. If the capacity of the workplace needs to be increased, a CASTOR single-rotor shredder is added to the system. This represents the first stage of crushing, connected to the knife mill by a conveyor belt. Compared to other sorting methods, the wet float system offers the highest purity of the separated copper or. aluminium.
