LUPUS_492 is a professional disintegration device designed for the physical destruction of information carriers. The machine is built as a two-stage, twin-shaft shredder that ensures controlled, repeatable, and legally compliant destruction of data media.

The machine is suitable for:

Two-stage shredding technology – controlled output fraction

Structurally, the system consists of two vertically arranged twin-shaft shredders, operating together as a single autonomous technological unit.

First shredding stage – coarse disintegration

The first stage breaks down the input material into smaller pieces. Depending on the selected operating mode, the material can either:

  • remain captured in the collection box, or

  • continue to the second shredding stage.

Second shredding stage – fine fragmentation

The second stage provides significant size reduction to ensure that the final particle size meets strict security requirements for data irrecoverability. Both stages are electronically interconnected and controlled as a single system.

Flexible operating mode based on material type

LUPUS_492 allows easy switching between two operating modes using collection boxes and a transfer tunnel:

Mode 1 – Single-stage shredding

Used for:

  • hard drives,

  • printed circuit boards.

After the first stage, the material is captured in the collection box and does not proceed further. This mode achieves a shred size of approx. 2000 mm² or below.

Mode 2 – Two-stage shredding

Used for:

  • optical media,

  • electronic memory devices,

  • magnetic media.

In this mode, the material continues to the second shredding stage, where a shred size of about 30 mm² or below is achieved.

Operational safety is ensured by magnetic drawer sensors – the machine cannot be started when any collection box is open.
