Crushing the costs of hazardous waste handling
Company DETOX has long been one of the most reliable providers of hazardous waste collection and processing services in Slovakia. In 2023 they expanded their operation in Trnava (SK) with a twin-shaft shredder DX160/600 with an input of 18.5 kW – the third shredder they have purchased from us since 2003.
How does the shredder help in practice?
In Trnava, contaminated containers with residues of harmful substances are shredded, with the goal of significantly reducing the volume of waste.
The customer reports a specific experience: “Four containers before shredding produce one container of shredded material.”
Such compaction brings immediate benefits:
